car vibrates

here's the story... changed brakes (pads and drilled/slotted rotors) and after that the car started vibrating while braking right off the bat. first I used Napa ceramix pads, then switched to Honda original and changed the rotors for a completely brand new set machined and balanced by the main dude at the shop where they make them. Also the first time I was doing it I stripped the caliper bracket bolt hole however brought it to a shop and had a Heli-coil inserted and it was as good as new. I also might have overtighened the wheels as I was told. Besides the brake vibrations I also get high speed vibration it's not too bad but still very annoying. Had my wheels balanced without any change. Then I just changed my wheels to winter set which also did not resolve either problem. Mechanic drove it around, had a look underneath and said it was rotors.

I am not sure what else to try at the moment so maybe someone could shed some light for me.

i say rotors... They sound like they are not balanced properly. Take them back and tell them to check em again. Or take them to napa and see if they can see if they are balanced properly or not..

I got x-drilled and slotted on mine. Paid $160 shipped for them from R1 Concepts on ebay. Work/look great out of the box with the zinc plating

well I got another new set of rotors and after driving right after replacing them I get the same exact symptoms. It's definitely not the rotors. I'm really hating my car right now because of this.

What could be bent or broken or something wrong that would cause this?

Had the exact same problem as you.

Instead of turning your rotors, get new ones for the front only. I did it myself & it took 45 minutes to an hour. It's very easy. My ride runs aswesome now, like new. Good luck.

are you sure the vibration is coming from the front? Rear rotors can cause it too.

1 other thing to check is the axles and bearings.
