or maybe... the car's so low the tires are all rubbing thus making you drag really badly. Did you reset your ecu after the spring install?
actually... if the springs are a tougher spring, couldn't they reduce body lift less when you accelerate thus making the car "feel slower"

either way, I think it's just because the car isn't "lifting up" like it used to before
