just recently, my car shuts down when waiting at trafic lights. it happended 3 or 4 times, any idea on whats wrong?

that's kinda scary...fuse maybe?

 

Shuts down? as in turns off, like someone 'pulled the plug'? (ie: electrical - no spark)

or

stalls/sputters out (no fuel, or fueling/mixture problem)?

Take it to the dealer. Maybe they can retrive a malfunction code from the ECU for diagnosis.

 

my guess, 02 sensor.

 

Mine is having the same thing happen. Mostly on very hot days. it's going into PAA this coming Tuesday. I have no idea yet.
