It pulls more dramatically when accelerating...
allignment is fine if clutch is pushed in...
is my LSD dieing?

If the steering wheel isn't entirely straight and you gun it... it could pull to one side (effect of LSD). If it pulls to the right ALL the time (even with the steering wheel straight), then it could be abnormal behavior of the LSD (very unlikely though!).

My car pulls to the right as well....but I never thought about trying it with the car depressed.
I don't think it's torque steer because when mine pulls (which is all the time), I'm not gunning it. I could be on cruise control on the hwy and it will pull slightly to the right if I let go of the wheel.
My service advisor said it's a bit normal on the 6-speeds (who knows?). I've had them check alignment a couple times and it looks normal.
I'll try cruising today and I'll press in the clutch to see if it's going straight.
Does yours pull hard to the right?

So here is me being an ass and reviving a 10 year old thread.
I just had the same problem emerge today.
Felt vibration like a bad wheel bearing that worsened when turning.
Replaced both bearings, vibration still there.
Detailing car to sell, rotating tires, changing oil, car was on jack stands for a week.
Had to drive car and put back on ground.
Now driving, car pulls left when clutch is engaged and immediately stops this when clutch pushed in. Accelerating, decelerating, coasting, doesn't matter, pulls left. As soon as I push church in, it stops and goes straight.
Vibration I had before is worse now.
Was planning to replace a cv axle prior to this but now not sure if really axle (and which side) or possibly half shaft.
Any ideas?

I'll try it, thanks. Took car on highway, high pitched grinding noise when I turn car right slightly. I'm thinking I go ahead with axle replacement since that was my gut feeling anyway.

Don't panic! And don't just randomly throw parts at it!
A bad wheel bearing feels not primarily like a vibration, but more like a low frequency growling or rumbling, esp when you shift weight to the bad side.
For vibration, suspect and rule out tires first (try indexing the front tires by one lug), then brakes (rotors: classic sw and pedal pulsing, comes and goes on mine), then driveline...
Have you checked the brake shield and brake pad wear indicator clips for rubbing?

Thanks. I already replaced wheel bearings as the sound/feel was identical to what I have known to be a bearing. Not a huge expense so lesson learned.
I'm going to put tires back to as before and check.
As for brakes, I may need to replace rotors to get better selling price anyway so may be able to rule out those at that time. No pulsing in pedals though.
Vibration felt in steering wheel and seats. Heard easily in car.
After driving, driver side rotor much hotter than passenger side but calipers not very warm at all.
When on jacks, with wheels off, I placed car in gear to watch rotors for trueness. I have done this before when changing tires. This time however, driver side wheel did NOT spin. Seemed odd to me, never did that before.

Following up on this issue.
Car pulling to left when clutch was engaged = New tire at back left replaced under road hazard protection was rotated to front right. Tread difference on front wheels between right and left was about 1/16". I swapped tires around and matched front wheels and problem is gone.
Faint grinding noise after wheel bearings replaced = intermediate shaft bearing going bad. Probably needs replacement in the next year or so.
Thanks for the suggestions all.
