Is the car performing as it should be?

Well now that I have headers and intake, I tested the top end again, and it went to 110 fast, then it hit 110 and I would probably have to hold the throttle for 5-8 seconds to get to 120....is 110 when it goes into 4th gear, i know ive asked this before, but i figured with my power mods, it would move faster from 110.

yes, 110 is when you shift to 4th gear and hit the wall.

that wall really sucks too, but if you want to push her more, just give it a few more secs and when you hear VTEC engage in 4th you know you're really moving

but as other say, and myself having experienced it, even with the mods, 4th gear really BLOWS

eh, what is the reason as to why our 4th blows so much? Is it the gearing? Is it impossible to change it and make it better?

Can't do nothing about gearing. You can always buy smaller diameter tires and cheat yourself, haha. Nope, nothing you can do.

At 110mph it requires ~65whp alone to overcome aerodynamic drag. At 120mph that figure is 85whp! You are losing a battle against wind drag and yes, gearing.

even with the blower, 4th gear is still weak. however, it does help you get back into vtec and onceyou do, it will very nicely, boost or no boost
