Car Loans By Internet
Has anybody got a car loan by the internet such as peoplefirst.com, eloan.com, etc? If so, how was your experience?
How was the rates compared to the dealer?
Thanks for any info

I have peoplefirst.com, they rock!!!
Very good service, the best rates I ever saw.
I did a long search, and they were the best for refinance, used, or new purchase.
I suggest you set automatic payment option, then you can save even more on the interest

Where is my super sauce?
Rates were great. I used this as a shopping/leverage tool and ultimately at deal-time the dealer 'found' a loan from a local bank that was 0.25% less then e-loan or peoplefirst.
This tactic has worked for every car I've purchased - I come with the loan all set up at 'x' rate from my sources and the dealer has to come under that to keep the loan deal for themselves.
Of course my credit score is better then about 99% of people out there, so I have no problem in securing a competitive loan.

I financed my 2001 CLS via eloan. The rates were substantially better than what Acura was offering. The approval process was almost instant and they Fed Ex'd me a cashiers check the next day. It was an effortless process and I'd recommend checking before going with whatever the dealer or local back is offering.
