i don't have ish with anyone. someone's hating the cls!

oh well, i have all the tools/supplies to take it out. we'll see what happens.

 

That sucks. My wife's explorer got it down both sides about a year ago - still burns me up.

yah, i've had my cars keyed numerous times. Even had a brick thrown through the CL window. FUCKING WITH SOMEONES PROPERTY PISSES ME OFF, don't fuck with money, fuck with a person!!! it's a shame how jealous and babyish some people are. I've never done anything to anybody's stuff, if i have a problem i go to them. It's girls, and those damn guys who are to scared to say anything to your face.

i guess i probally deserved some of it, but why my car.

that is my biggest fear of driving my burban. Some one getting jealous and keying it.

i was thinking about bringing it to the dealer to let them fix it, but i'm curious if they are able to get it back to stock since the black has the metallic blue in it.

independent detailers tend to cut corners, i wonder if the dealers do that too.

I had my old Legend keyed before, I kinda think i know who did it but no proof. The bastard was jealous over a f@cking girl. Anyways neither the car or the girl is still with me :-)

i'm still very interested in doing it. basically given up, don't want to do it by myself. i have some old headlights from another car, and play around with that. there were some people on here that were interested, but i just want someone that has done it previously to tag along.

i'll be at a import shop tomorrow (to install my headers) and will talk to them about it.

the bumper doesn't need to come off right? just to remove the headlights? i haven't checked yet.

 

they got one panel, drivers side door. i got a quote where the dealers get their paint jobs at (holmes? i think?) and they gave me a rough estimate of $450. quite expensive, but if dealers such as nissan, acura go there, i suppose it's good.

do you know any good detailers? i've seen pics of your suburban and it looks $$$.

i just want it exactly like stock. so even after it's done, there shouldn't be any traces it has been keyed.

i asked them how they were going to do it, and it seems there would be 3 coats. 1) black, 2) blue metallic, 3) clear coat. is this normal?

on the brighter side, i get my headers installed for $980, with tax, with installation. not bad.

 

insurance might cover it without raising your premium, since it was not you that caused the damage. You should look into it.
