car jumps forward when cold?

So recently its been getting pretty cold here. Temps reaching 20 degrees and lower sometimes. When i start my car after its been sitting for a while the car tries to move forward immediately, only when i first start it and while the parking brake is still on. After that it idles high around 2k rpms than lowers to normal idle. However, i never experience this when it is warm outside or if the car has been warmed up. Does any one else experience this? pretty odd.

check for a vaccum leak... even when it is -30F here my car never idles at 2K. also check to see if your throttle body is slightly open when the engine is off. These are just guesses man as I have no idea.....

2000rpm is a little high, should be more like 1600-1700 rpm, but anyways it is called a cold weather start, pretty normal for it to run the high idle when the engine is so cold, it is just trying to get itself warmer a little faster
