so, today i get my cls back from the dealer...they replaced my pads, resurfaced rotors, fixed my fuel fill door, and replaced my drive belts. my car now is very loud at idle, its a ticking noise. it also sounds like it has an exhaust leak of some sort. a friend has an 01 also so i asked him to run me because my car is feeling like shit. not only did he kick my ass but on the way to drop of my car tp the dealer my girl whipped my ass in her saturn l200 loaner! i just raced the car to make sure is was running like shit and i wasnt crazy. anyway on the way to the dealer the check engine light comes on and when passing 5800 rpm the car boggs bad. anyone have any idea what this could be? at 1st the check engine light just flashed for about 60 seconds.

Just a guess here but snoop around the drive belts and see if any electrical plugs were left loose.Barring that a return trip to the dealer is in order here .Jens

 

easy solution............just take it back to the dealer and have them fix the problems free under warranty

 

its with them now. i dropped it off tonight and they didnt even have a loaner for me! he said he will try to put me in something tomorrow. this shit sucks, i hate not having MY car.

I'd have the guy by the balls.

I had mine in for a 30K service. They took all day to do just a few things and it was not ready at 5:00. They claimed they had 45 cars to service. I said well, maybe you should not overextend yourselves. If I need to tell you how to run a business, maybe you should find a top flight job in the hosue keeping or food service industries.

When I saw the car there were little dents on the trunk lid.

I didn't care if they had a loaner, I made them give me a new car and they took out a new RSX and said here drive it till we fix it.

I told them the legal fees were more expensive as well as the bad press than they cost of getting me a car.


I'd be tear ass mad if it ran fine and then after the clowns were done doing service on the car it ran like crap.
