Hey guys i was just wondering has anyone had problems with there car not beeping when pressing lock twice? Well the problem im having is been goin on for a while and acura cannot seem to fix it. What happens is i can lock my doors but the lights do not flash and the car doesnt beep. But also i cannot use the drivers side unlock button or memory seats when the car is off only when the car is started. Now acura has tried to fix it 5 times now and my car has been there since the week before christmas for the 6th attempt. They said they had to call a tech from cali and see what he could do and i live in FLA. So i have no idea what the deal is but if you got input let me know.. thanks.. gb

 

sorry no idea. Make sure your trunk closes properly..... Maybe the sensor for the trunk is broken? im just guessing here...Good luck though!

 

Sometimes in early mornings (especially when cold) I have to hit the lock button many times before I get a beep.

 

check the sensors on your doors too. youll notice if you leave a door open or it doesnt get closed all the way ( like if the seatbelt got in the way ) and hit the lock button, nothing will happen. it seems like it would have to be a trunk or door ( s ) sensor in your case ..

 

Any chance the battery in the remote is low?

 

check all of the above and if your dome light is switched to off position
