So I take my car in for the 15K mile service and as the loaner for the day I get a brand new 2001 Integra LS.

I think alright, atleast it is a new car and an Acura, not some trade-in POS Saturn or something.

But as I am driving to work I am like DAMN, this thing is f*ing slow as Christmas. I mean 140hp in a 4 cylinder is a HELL of a lot slower than my CL-S.

It has 300 miles on it and was "given" to the dealership strictly as a loaner, not even a price tag on it, I look at the window sticker that was stuck in the glove box hehe

So all in all not bad, but still I can't wait to get my baby back.

I have a Chevy Metro as a loaner right now but at least now I can say I've mastered the 360 degree spin with the handbrake

Going for a 540 spin next...

Haha... Im glad to see im not the only one that does that. I was doing 180 handbrake turns in the mall parking when I had the Cavalier rental.

 

My friend and I did that when he got a "Geo" Metro a couple years ago, mastered the 360 degree spins.

I would do that with the Teg, but I don't know if I can push it that hard yet, stupid thing isn't even broken in and is no fun so far. But I am going to beat the piss out of it, especially since they aren't even going to sell it...

Pohanka NEVER gives me a loaner. even when I call ahead. NEVER. all there services take like less than 1 hour so I always end up just waiting.

The first and only time i've had a loaner was about a month ago from the dealer and they gave me a silver 2001 TL Too bad i didn't get the 2002 TL-S.

I forget which dealer it was, but their loaner car has "Acura Courtesy Car" in huge letters along the back of their Integra loaner. I guess you want advertising where ever you can get it. Even though it didn't work because I still don't remember the dealer.

I used to work as a pharmacy delivery boy when I was in college. The had a ford pony for a delivery car. I swear to you when I say I used to give myself motion sickness when I drove that car. The speedo went up to 80 but when you pinned the gas 70ish was the best you got. The E-brake was soo much fun I miss that little pony.
