car cover

i was wondering if it's worth it to pay 150-200 dollars to get a car cover. i just want something to cover my car before it starts snowing and stuff. i saw some car covers for 25-35 dollars on ebay but i don't know what the qualities of those are like.. i don't really want to spend too much on getting oem stuff either.. don't need perfect fitment or side mirror pockets.. any input would be appreciated.. thanks.

I thought about getting a car cover, but decided against it. If there's any dirt on the car, the cover would only aid in scratching the paint.
