Car Accident :(

I cant believe what happened last night, just going to the diner here i am stopped at the traffic light getting ready to make a left onto the other street....Just got the green light. Here comes a speeding SUV through the red light hitting a honda civic with 2 girls that were going straight, after that the suv stopped and broke the casing of my left head light, scratched bumper and more. I could be mad about it which i was at first, but I am thankful to be alive and I have god to thank for that. The girls in the civic were not hurt thank god they got hit pretty hard, their car is totalled. Here i am wondering about my brand new car that I got on April 3rd 2003 and Aprilt 4th 2003 at 10PM my car is already damaged sad story but good ending. Always be thankful for what you have.

Scary. Glad to hear that everyone was ok though (what happened to the SUV driver? Was he hurt at all?).

The car is insured, not the driver. If you loan your car to someone and they get in an accident, it's your insurance, not the driver's. At least that's how it works around here.

It sounds like just a slight damage, get it fixed and it will be perfect again.

The insurance follows the vehicle, not the driver. It'll be fixed under your brother's policy and should not increase the premium since it wasn't your fault.

As long as you're not listed as a Non-Driver or an Excluded Driver, you're fine.

In Syosset, right by the train station, You will need to bring it by on Monday but they will take a look at it and then get the necessary parts, and then when they have the parts they will tell you to drop the car off probably for 2 to 3 days, The paint needs to dry.

If that was true then your insurance wouldn't cover you in a rental? Or if someone else is speeding in your car it goes on your insurance? Don't think so.

Maybe it is different in MA.

Its always painful to see a CL lookin like that. I'm out on Long Island too and I know a great place in Merrick on the South Shore if your still looking. Its Merrick Collision & Towing. They've fixed up a handful of my cars and they always do great work.

Get that sucker back on the road ASAP!

Hellz yeah, Anthracite is an awesome. I couldn't make up my mind between this color or black. In the end i'm glad I went the way I did.

So far i've only seen one other CL in Anthracite, this guy from my GYM owns it. I know there a bunch of others, but out of sight out of mind.
