cant open that fucken compartment!!! i had at least five dollars worth of quarters in there and now i cant open it. i can see through the bottom, where the heatered seat buttons are, that some quarters leaked through and are stuck. that fucken sucks. now do i have to take apart the whole dash to get it cleard?

 

Take it to the dealer. I beleive they have a fix for it.

 

first take the plastic cover out between the heat seaters, then
start pounding the driver side of the middle console where your knee is. this should shake the coins out.

Gabe, I was wondering when u'd run into that problem. A nickel got lodged on the right side of the swivel area so I took out the coin tray (not an easy task) and I put my cellphone speaker in that area, I will post pics when I have the chance.

 

happened to me the first day i had my car but i got it unlodged fairly easy same as russian space station style

 

put your change in your pocket

 

i put the coins in the pull out tray....you should try it if you want

open the 'not a cointray' as much as you can and
whack the side of the sucker till the coins dislodge. The cointray can take a beating and keep on ticking.
