I'd do it, but I like my clean driving record. Y'all know I'd kick your asses anyway.
I don't think people are going to or should get that insane over this.

As convenient as this may sound I personally wouldnt do this. If you carefully watched both CannonBall Run Movies, you should notice that the state police has an eye out for potential cannonballers...meaning they'd pull any vehicle over or keep an extra eye out for vehicles that looked suspicious. I'd want to blend in with the crowd as much as I can, so Id just have a printout of my number and when it comes time to cross the finish line, whip it out and tape it on the passenger side window or something.

I was also thinking of putting a sign that says

I AM PARTICIPATING IN AN ILLEGAL LAND RACE

I think putting soap w/ numbers on your window would be a bad idea and just lead a cop to be more suspicious when he pulls you over.

It does sound fun!!! If you are the only one who drive the speed limit, you might be the one one who makes it to the finish line.

How about telling the officer you just finished washing your car and you wanted it to air-dry? So that was why you were speeding. The faster you drive, the quicker the car dries.

If said race was to occur, it cannot terminate at Park Ave Acura. It would be un-cool if any problems would follow this race to the event. Even if it was to be terminated down the road or at a location nearby but NOT at the meet. I think everyone sees my logic here....

heh...... turnpike police come to Park Ave Acura :sqnteek:

the two ways are a good idea. too bad they dont work as well as people hope. and with how far i'd be in the lead i wouldn't be able to tell you people that the race would be over

my sentiments exactly...as long as people take it easy when u get in the PAA vicinity, there should b no problems...Turnpike cops are not gonna follow u all the way up to PAA, and if they do, u deserve to get yer ass kicked ROYALLY for not noticing

look, everyone is gonna wind up goin at his/her own pace, so u all know the risks involved...but if u're not up for goin a steady 90+ all the way, winning the race will b very difficult

...I forget,
Who started all this mess anyway?

ummmmm,

We take chances everyday of our lives, from the time we wake up to the time we go to sleep each day. I see it as a game of chance and a game of skill, all at the same time. However, things have changed and highway patrol is getting smarter, bringing our % of success way down. I also feel like everyone under the sun have cell phones in the car and get real "send" happy when they see people moving at a "faster" pace or they dislike some shit that you are doing, i.e. cannonball.

Not trying to be a buzz kill, because I will need may car Zaino'd by BigPimp if he looses.

This will need some sort of planning.

Yeah yeah, I started this ......ordeal.

I would have to agree with Xenon on the bitchazz factor of loosers getting send happy with their cellies calling on the police.

I think it would not be such a bad idea to maybe cover your license plate, although that might get you pulled over as well.

However, I think as long as we follow road rules, not tailgate too much, and just do controlled speeding, this could be fun.

as long as it's not like the USA network's Cannonball Run(last summer) I actually wasted my time watching some of it. That show sucked so bad compared to the movie Cannonball Run the movie. It almost reminded me of WWF where they staged the race.
