Can you paint your AEM CAI?

I bought a red AEM CAI for my Cl-S and I wanted to know if you can paint it without the paint falling off because of heat? I want to paint it white so it can match the car if anyone has tried this let me know if it works thanks.

Painting Metal Info

I plan on etching (with sandpaper or something) my intake, then priming, painting, finishing....with various grits of sanding in between lol, to match my painted engine cover:

Good luck!

No way do you need high heat paint. It never gets hot. Remember, it's sucking cold air into the engine.

Nah you really don't need it. If you were painting your headers ( ) you'd probably need it heh
