CAN WE FIT 19X9s

Someone please tell me that we can. I want to buy Giovanna Essens and I really don't want to get 18s. But IF I can't do the 19X9s then I guess I have to settle for 18 X8.5s

Yes, in fact it would be one heck of a lap dance (the rubbing would be obscene)!

The other guy is right, your 19x9s won't fix without like a 55mm offset, and that is pretty unlikely and which tire you select factors in as well of course. I have 18x8s with 45mm on 225/45/18s. I have about a finger's width between the tire and the control arm on the front. That's fine, but rubbing against that control arm is not something you can fix by "rolling or shaving" some plastic.
I would *guess* that 18x8.5 on a 225 wide tire w/ 45mm offset will work, but it will be close to that control arm. Best of luck to you!

The +55 offset would just move the inside of the rim 10mm closer to the upper control arm (banana bar).

I have 17x8 SSRs w/+48 offset and there is only room for my "smaller" fingers to fit in between there (less than 1/2" and it seemed closer to 1/4".

Now, with the 9-inchers -- and the same offset as mine -- the wheels would be jammed against the suspension. Lose another 7mm of clearance (by going to a +55), and it's time to get the hammer out (for some we're off-the-road rally suspension work)
