Can we do this, DVD/CD/MP3 player Integration?

Ok, so we install the Video Decoder (~150), if we purchase this: DVD/CD/MP3 PlayerDVD/CD/MP3 Player for under $200, and then we power it using this: Power Inverter for under $40 bucks,

Then the whole system would cost ~390, is this setup possible ?

Thanks in advance

im doing kind of like the same setup, but that will skip alot if its in the car. try going w/ the apex md-100 it plays mp3/cd/vcd/dvd and has a floating unit so it won't skip. It even comes w/ a 15foot remote extender so you can have your unit in the trunk and still control it, a cig adapter and a 12volt pos. neg connection if you want to directly hook it to your battery. it also has a dc connector for your house. As soon as I bought the unit I brought it inside, had it play a mp3 and was shaking the crap out of it for 30 seconds but did not skip.

I plan to use this w/ the pioneer tv tunder rgb decoder since it alreay has a fm modulator and I can do dvd in navi setup.

wow, so the only thing apex is missing is the FM Modulator, which I can buy for under 40

Thanks,

exactly! but if you want to watch dvd's like me, or tv through your navi disply you'll need that decoder box. Ageancls and I are working on it and also making a step by step how to on it. (not easy)

for the TV tuner: GEX-P7000TV is it necessary to buy the antenna for it "AN-G3", or you just hook it up to any antenna.

Thanks, the step by step how to, would be great

it does have like a headphone jack for the antenna and each antenna is like 85 dollars.
we going to try just sticking in some wires and running it along the car. kinda like sticking a coat hanger!

Joe, its actually 80 bucks for 2 antennas I think, but yea we can try to do a homemade job, its hard to get good reception when the car is moving anyway.

one last question:

Since the GEX. have its own RGB in/out, you dont have to use the 4PDT switch to switch from video to navi right ?

you'll just use the remote to switch between them.
