Can I trust a v1 from ebay?

From what I have seen on EBAY, the good used ones go for not much less then new.
Make sure you get the serial number before you buy so you can check the software/hardware update version on the V1 website.
And look for good seller feedback like on all sales.

Why wouldn't you trust one from e-bay?
Only bad thing I could think of is that mabye it was stolen if it was too cheap. Might have some explaining to do if you get pulled over and they actually do check the serial #.
You can always send it back it to be tuned/updated. I don't think it is very expensive.
