For Californians: How much did you pay for the registeration fee?

I just received the registration renewal notice for my 2001 Acura 3.2CL coupe. It increased from last year's $201 to $471! On the notice there is no VLF(Vehicle License Fee) Offset anymore. How much do you pay for it?

Lucky you, I just beat the deadline of new tax law for this year so still have that offset. $188 for me, but if no offset it will 488

i think some group is suing to reverse the car tax hike stating that it is illegal.

you can fill out a form and turn it in with ur registration payment and its supposed to give you ur money back when the court rules on it

hav anybody else heard of this?

i paid 191 in june

i paid 190. or something very close.
we get so screwed in cali its ridiculous. first with high gas prices and lower octane than practically ever other state. then more registration fee, alot more. state budget cuts made classed at local comm. colleges like zoo's, with a min. of 20 people trying to crash each class! even various campus resources are cut down with less hours and people.
the summers are hot, winter and summer seem to get mixed up. no snow ever in most areas, some of the strictest laws of all the states (especially driving offenses), the toughest emissions, bad economy(this applies to every state but we got hit harder than most imo), the list is endless.
