California Waterblade or the Absorber?
Which one is better? I have the absorber, however I don't like to 'wring' it out all the time when drying the car. Has anyone used both products and if so, which one do you like more?

Use the Cali water blade to move 90% of water first.
Then use the "Absorber" or the P21 Absorber to remove the remaining water.
Never scratched, car still looks better than day 1.
I use both products TOGETHER, and will continue to do so. I do switch between the P21 Absorber and the "Absorber" (why not?)

IMO, I have to Say the Cal. H2O blade is about the best thing since velcro and nylon zip ties!
I werks very well, But like anything else it has it's limits. I carry an old t-Shirt as a supplement to get those hard to reach places and stuff.
I give it an 8.5

Go with the absorber. Thats what I'm using and I cant ask for anything better. There have been some people that mentioned the California water blade causes small scratches on the paint. Go to autopia-carport.com Doe a search on the forums section for more info.

I do as Eric does...
I use a water blade to get off the large drops of water and to dry windshield...
Then I use "The Absorber" absober to remove all the excess water.

Unless kept perfectly clean, the Absorber will scratch the hell out of your car. I had a black currant Accord as proof. It was a MESS!! The darker the color, the more the damage will show. You absolutely must wash the Absorber after every use. Even doing that, I find the things don't last long and end up looking dirty after just a few uses.
The water blade is at least easier to keep clean as all you have to do is wipe it off when you're done using it and make sure nothing's on it before you use it. It will still scratch your car too if it's not clean.
After all this, I decided to just go with the large white cotton bath towels that Zaino recommends. I use 4 or 5 to dry off my car and can do it in the same amount of time it takes to use the Absorber or the Water blade (of which I have both, but no longer use).

I have used the same absorber for 4 years now and works as good as day one. I washed it about 3x. Make sure your car is clean before using it.
