i know theres alot of cold air intake threads recently... and i have an 01 cl-s.... ive seen some knock off ebay cai for cl's...but how come some of the listings say its "not for fog light" models? does that mean the roadlamps?

Means nothing. Just they don't know what fits the car right.

the tubing is able to bend......does that make a difference in sound or hp gains etc...?

 

Ebay CAI intakes are shit...you're better off making one yourself if you're going that route. All of the stores on Ebay that sell the connected pipes have no idea if the CAI fits your car...

ALL Cold Air Intakes that look like AEM, Injen are going to give you 8-10hp (even if you make your own AEM looking intake, you'll get that much.)

This is a dead horse subject too...

 

sorry, but what do you mean by look like aem... IMO all the tubing structures of the knock offs look like aem.....
