CAI - Do I reset Computer?

Hey. Going to put in my AEM CAI this afternoon at lunch with a friend that owns a local shop. Do I need to unplug battery or otherwise reset the computer for this mod. If so, anything I need to know before I do that. Any other advice.

Thanks,
David

You will probably get a number of "yes, do it. It helped.." and a few to the contrary (I'm in the computer will figure it out group).

In my case, AEM CAI was installed with headers. The car was fast right after the installation and "seemed" fastest by the end of the day. No battery disconnect/ECU reset was done at that time.

So, is it mandatory? IMO, no.
Can it hurt anything (to reset via fuse or battery cable removal)? Not in my experience.

Is the fuse for the computer under the hood or on the driver's side of the dash?

just drive the thing... It is a Computer that does 100,000 operations a second... the CPU will adjust instantly... as EricL or Scalbert.

I'm sure you will be removing the battery at one point, so you can reach one of the bolts for the resonator box
