Well, it started when a buddy of mine in his 90 something Si with a type R motor and N2O (bottle was off) decided to beat up on me...which he did. OK, whatever, he told me about a spot where the fellas meet with their cars, so I went. As soon as I pulled up, a guy in a lightly modded 5.0 jumped on me. We lined up and I smoked him like a Newport. His buddy with a faster 5.0 sees this and wants to exact revenge. No problem, we line up and the result is the same. I got a rematch with the first 5.0 and beat him even worse than the first time (better launch, no bog), so now I'm feeling really good. Now a kid with an S2000 wants to run...we line up, but I had a huge piece of asphalt stuck to my damn tire. Needless to say, after a lousy launch, we door handle to door handled it all the way to mid third where he inched me out. Hmm, rematch....but first, some guy in a heavily modded Talon wants to run. 7 cars and he's turning me loose. I took off with a little tire spin and he came after me, boy did he come after me. Mid 3rd gear, he ran by me like the ape's rapist! Ok, I expected that, so I wasn't feeling bad and returned to the start where a heavily modded RX-7 was waiting for me. We lined up, I hooked, he didn't and jumped about 5 cars on him...I held that fucker off right to the end (if the 1/4 was 5 more feet, I'da lost for sure). Next was the rematch with the S2K...this time I got a nice launch and dusted him off by 4 or 5 cars. On the way home, I'm on the highway and there was an Adui S4 that was sitting there the whole night, never moved, but now he pulls behind me and starts riding my ass. I d/s and floor it and straight walk off that ass like a plank. I guess he thought my dual exhaust pipes were for show...

the only reason I beat the Mazda was because I have Nitto 555R DRs and I knew that I would get a good enough launch on him, I saw him race and knew that i had a chance...

I proved that I couldn't beat an 11 sec car (11.90s so they tell me) when the Talon whooped my ass, so no, no Vipers for me.

5.0s are usually not much of a problem with light mods and average drivers...I live at the track and reaction time is everything to me...that and at least a 2.0 60' on OEM tires.

If it had been an LT1 Vette auto, yeah I woulda beat it...6 speed woulda needed a very bad driver (read: lots of spin).

S2K? drivers' race...I lost, I won...

I won't be messin with old ass 1100 Zukes until i get my Gixxer 1k

I'm just wondering you ran all of these runs back to back with no worry about heat saturation? usually after a couple of hot laps like that pretty much any motor starts to slow a little. If I run the GN hot lapped it will satart to drop off like ENRON stock. Still great kills even if it came from the Blue Oval crowd jus kiddin

My temp is pretty constant, whatever the middle of the gauge is (I hafta get a real water temp gauge), is where it stays. I ran 2 or 3 times, cooled ran one cooled and whatever was left (i'm tired and don't feel much like remembering last night), I ran. Even at the track, sometimes i can run 6 or 7 times without a break and the times stay the same...go figure, maybe it's the aluminum heads and plastic intake?

nah, a ricer is someone who claims that they will beat a Viper or whatever is way outta their league with BS mods like a muffler and an air filter. like with a Honda Civic or something
