Curious about burnouts
Will your guys' cars burnout from a stop on dry tar. Mine barely chirps at all. I have a stock 01 CL-S with Good Year Eagle RS-A tires, and yes the VSA is OFF

Yes. I did it last night. All the way through the top of second gear. Peeled out for a good 500 feet. Smoked up the entire street and the parking lot next to it. I'm on 225/45 sticky Pirelli's

What a coincidence. I spun mine through the top of 2nd tonight too. Toyo T1S on mine. For some reason I don't think our opinions mean much to this guy MrSteve

A few batches of the Comptech kit were shipped with a black blower instead of the silver one. Everything internally is identical.

I wouldn't go that far. We've got quite a few supercharged and intercooled automatics and now a turbo automatic running around.

I have a black one...but I think the thing that was confusing him is the custom intake manifold.

just wanted to show a fellow member that it's possible to do burnouts. dyno tune coming up soon when i get an exhaust system. i will post a graph so we get to see what this baby can do. can't wait till the next WCM 3.

Get that biatch to the track!! Watch out MattG, hope your 100 shot is ready to roll.
I have only "chirped" my GY RSA's when shifting...how does a burnout affect our beloved auto tranny? This is the first sporty FWD I have owned.
BTW mine's a 2001 CLS..no mods yet...

LOL....
the dealership has installed ALL of my modifications including the supercharger (warranty > *)
The intercooler will be the first mod I install myself on this car.

Me too. Isn't it great? lol. When I was at Commerce drag strip about 3 weeks back, my worst time was 18.7, only because I burned through 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, and I believe I may have chirped 4th.
BTW, I have an '01 SMR with black leather-stock.
