Burnouts

Curious about burnouts

Will your guys' cars burnout from a stop on dry tar. Mine barely chirps at all. I have a stock 01 CL-S with Good Year Eagle RS-A tires, and yes the VSA is OFF

Yes. I did it last night. All the way through the top of second gear. Peeled out for a good 500 feet. Smoked up the entire street and the parking lot next to it. I'm on 225/45 sticky Pirelli's

just hold the e-brake and hit the gas pedal. then when the tires are warm let go of the e-brake.

should look something like this.

300-350whp is what does it. bigguyonbike did it in the rain but just as easily could have done it in dry. SC at 9psi w/ intercooler makes a big difference.

I wanted to see the end of the video when he skidded into the curb and broke both of his half shafts.

It might not be the parking brake that's helping them. Maybe...just maybe, its the supercharger that they have on their cars? That might give them an advantage.

A few batches of the Comptech kit were shipped with a black blower instead of the silver one. Everything internally is identical.

I wouldn't go that far. We've got quite a few supercharged and intercooled automatics and now a turbo automatic running around.

I have a black one...but I think the thing that was confusing him is the custom intake manifold.

I have only "chirped" my GY RSA's when shifting...how does a burnout affect our beloved auto tranny? This is the first sporty FWD I have owned.

BTW mine's a 2001 CLS..no mods yet...

You guys just keep on raising the bar and I can't keep up. The next question is will Mattg introduce the 100 shot NA or the SC 75 shot to take on the intercooled SC?

LOL....

the dealership has installed ALL of my modifications including the supercharger (warranty > *)

The intercooler will be the first mod I install myself on this car.

Me too. Isn't it great? lol. When I was at Commerce drag strip about 3 weeks back, my worst time was 18.7, only because I burned through 1st, 2nd, and 3rd, and I believe I may have chirped 4th.

BTW, I have an '01 SMR with black leather-stock.
