So I'm going to explain this as best I can. I have an 01 cls supercharged...the works. Many of you may know it, the previous owner was SeattleCl-s (Tom).

When I punch the throttle to get up to speed I always smell this burnig smell then it goes away. It has been doing it for a while with nothing bad happening to the car. Since nothing seemed to be going wrong I left it alone thinking it could be normal? But, it is getting really annoying so I want to know why it is doing it. If any of you have an idea of what it could be I would love the help and or input.

this happened to me as well, but it was just a plastic bag that got stuck under my car and the exhaust was melting it. the smell was driving me CrAzY!!!
