Bulbs

I was wondering if anyone knows what kind of bulbs for the center console and behind the gauges for a 03 TL-S

I want it to look more like a VW I like the blue color. Has anyone done it yet. Do you think that will look good.

Hey guys. I guess a few of you are interested in my LED dash Package. I am pretty sure that I will be able to make a kit to fit your cars, but I need your help. I need someone to be the guinea pig. Preferably someone that has soldering experience, a little electronics knowledge and someone who is not afraid to take apart the dash. I will also need this person to have a decent digital camera to take pictures along the way so we can make a how-to. If it works out, then I will put a CL kit together.

I also need to know if the dash is different in different trim levels. I know that the Accord EX V6 has a different climate control than the LX and 4 cyl. models. If there are differences, I will need a guinea pig for each different model.

Email me at entcee@mindspring.com if you are interested, or have any questions. I look forward to working with you guys.

It looks like ABreece will be the guinee pig, if he is still interested after all the demands I put on him! lol

We will be working on the ins and outs of doing this bulb to LED conversion for the CL. Once we are done (it may take a few weeks) we will have a how-to guide, and the LED's and resistors to make up a kit for all of you.

I will keep you posted on this thread.

there are NAV and NON nav modules. The 6speed obvioulsy does not have the shifter lights and I think they're seat heater button is different. I can't think of any other differences amongst CL's.

Thanks for that info! I doubt we will be able to change the lighting on a nav unit. It probably can be done, but will require soldering LED's and resistors on the circuit board. I hope that even though the seat heater buttons may be different, they take the same type of bulb.

So what color does your dash light up stock? Green like the Accord?

The console (climate control and whatnot) is green, same with the cd player LCD. I don't know about the clock - my bulb has been burned out for a LONG time . Most of the other lights - heat seating comes to mind - are orange. I'll take a pic for you tonight.
