brink of suicide

ok maybe im just stupid or somthing but i tried for 2 hours today to get the stock head unit out of my 01 and its still in like a rock. how the hell do u get that big peice of shisa out of there!?!?! i took off the wood grain and both of those black side panels and removed like 10 screws and its still not even moving a little bit. Is there a key that i need to remove somthin? Are those stupid little white clips the thing im missing here? plz help me cuz no words can describe how frustrated i am.

if it's the same as the 03 it's easy

ermove the trim, remove the arm rest(4 screws), remove the side panels(bunch of screws) remove the pocket under radio, remove shifter trim and take that panel out

now unscerw the 4 screws that hold the radio in
