Brembo brakes - a deal in the works?
More and more cars are offering Brembo's from the factory. This brings up an interesting point. Since Brembo recommends NOT resurfacing the disks, are we all in for much more expensive brake costs?

dude..brembo dics are not so expensive lol
what are expensives are the brake calipers...and the labors
but well.that depends on the size of the brake discs too...
i bought a front pair for my accord..only the brembo dics..
cost me about $150 (a pair and stock size..)...that was long time ago..
maybe 5 years ago..

When I found that out, I nearly fell out of my chair.
I would assume Tirerack will carry Brembo blanks for our car. And they'll problaby be less than $100 a piece...
Stillen makes a nice set of rotors... The pair is like $350.
Brembo recommends not resurfacing their rotors that are cross drilled.
Rotor's which are vented i believe can be resurfaced but don't hold me to that.
THe only reason why you shouldn't, and why most mechanics wont resurface cross drilled/slotted roters is because of the possibility of damaging their equipment when resurfacing the rotor because the bit may get caught in a hole/slot.
just because the stock cars are coming with brembo's doesn't increase maintenence costs.
the stock rotor's on the TL 6Spd which are brembo vented (NOT crossdrilled,NOT slotted) shouldn't be any more expensive to maintain than standard rotors.
