Brembo blanks weight difference?

i remember when installing the brembo blank front rotors that they were significantly heavier. i didnt have a scale around but i really want to know how much difference. the only reason i care is because its additional rotational mass on the drivetrain, something i dont want!
anybody have the weight of stock vs. brembo rotors?

Don't know about the CL. I just put them on a Nissan & they felt the same weight to me. Maybe they were a little heavier cause the old rotors had worn down.

I have them too. I would say they weigh about the same because they are made of the same material and same structure

i am going to call tirerack and ask them to see if they can get me the weight.

Heavier, in this case, will likely mean better in terms of resistance to warping.

A heavier, non drilled rotor with more mass will be better abl to dissipate heat then a lighter rotor. Thus, if the Brembos are heavier it is probably a good thing.

the gian brembo big brake kit is drilled and slotted and weighs less then a small ass rotor, and will never warp

Yes, in this case cooling is done more by the drilling and slotting and not by rotor mass. For solid rotors, the mass is very important for heat dissipation.
