The prices are for pairs, so

579.90 Two piece
289.23 One piece

They need to make these for the rear brakes!

Ok, I see it says pair but was not sure since you have to put in the quantity.

Not to bad of a price.

MrHeelToe, are there any test results to back their claims that " The UP rotor from Racingbrake performs better and cooler, and lasts longer than the competition." And "This design optimizes the friction between the pads and disc surface and achieves the highest level of braking performance that no other designs can provide."?

They make bold statments but I can't find any testing results.

I don't mean to be a "Debbie Downer" but I like to see results, or proof of a company's claims.

If you got some links or something I'd appriciate it as I can't find anything.

Also do you know where their rotors are cast? What country?

I had the older RB slotted rotors on my car for ~35-40k without any issues.

For rears we have something in the works but it is a much more significant upgrade than a simple rotor replacement. The rears really don't need to be any more than what a stock one is really.

They are bold statements. And the extent of testing we have is all based on actual user experience and use. The thing is, there aren't any rotors out there that can really compete with the wear resistance and cooling of these rotors (except a DBA with the special design they have).

We know the properties of these rotors allow them to cool more efficiently. It is proven by the fact that so many users eliminate issues with shaking or vibration associated with overheating.

We know the properties of these rotors extends their life 2-3 times longer than a conventional rotor. They wear at a very favorable rate and do not need machining in between pad changes. We know people we sold Racingbrake rotors to back in 2004-05 who still have them on their car and never have touched them since. How many? I don't know...but enough to increase my confidence in them.

Rotors made where everything else is now a days. East Asia. But as you know, or should know, less important is where something is made than who is watching over the quality of the product.

I had some ideas to do some independent testing of rotors to see if I could show some benefits, but need some time to organize it. In the meantime we can fully state our claims because we know they are true based on experience. You simply won't find the same list of features on any other rotor commonly used in OEM-replacement designs. You'll see them in some high-end big brake applications or two-piece designs, but not other 1-piece has this level of development than Racingbrake.

The weight savings is awesome...check out our analysis here:

By the way I went to Willow Springs Raceway yesterday and logged some pretty good beginner laps using 2-piece rotors and ET800 pads (stock fluid and lines) and never once did my brakes have me looking for more. I even brought a prototype Stage 4 kit out there with me and didn't bother putting it on.

Yes true, they don't do much. More of an aesthetic reason so the rotors match the front. Whats the super secret project your working on? =)

It is a rear brake upgrade unlike any other offered on a Honda!
