Break light on the spoiler

Does anyone know if it possible to rewire it to blink with the rest of the lights (break lights and parking lights) when you set and unset the alarm??

don't forget, the lights that blink when u arm your car are parking lights only, not brake lights, road lamps (unless u re-wire those), and headlights. so in order for u to see the spoiler lights blink, u would have to re-wire it as a parking light, and it would b on all the time when u drive at night, so i'm not sure if u really wanna do that

I know, I wouldnt want that. I didnt know if there was a way to just make it blink with the alarm but not be on all the time.

Do you want the spoiler to blink as confirmation that the doors are locked? I find that in bright sunlight I can't tell for sure if the parking lights blinked, and if I'm already too far from the car to hear the very quiet locking noise then I'm just trusting my aim with the remote.

I guess the spoiler light might be brighter, but I wish Acura had added a quiet beeping noise, just something loud enough to let us know our doors are locked (and unlocked for that matter).

the way the circuitry works is that the alarm is tied into the wiring to parking lights, which is separate from wiring to brake lights and headlights, however, set the alarm off, and then the headlights blink, but i don't think the brake lights come on. i don't know if u can attach both wirings to the spoiler light so that the light will b dim like the parking lights but light up bright when braking. if i remember correctly, the parking light and brake light are of different brightness, and if that's the case, u can't double wire the spoiler lights b/c there's no point

we do have a beeping noise. click the lock button on your key fob twice within a few seconds, and u'll hear it. it's actually too quiet for me. i want everyone possible to know that my car is armed so they won't try and fuk with it.

Thanks for the tip, I'll try it. Does pushing the button twice do anything else?

Unfortunately, pushing the lock button on your key fob twice (and more if u insist on hearing the beep) just relocks the car. it doesn't do anything like the Maxima where u hold down the unlock button and both front door windows go down. o well.

the spoiler brake light is cool, and it turns on and off much better than the standard brake lights (just my opinion). i wish we had brake lights like the spoiler light, kinda like the new Caddy's brake lights.
