Brand new guy

Hello

Last Thursday I got my hands on a Nice 03 cl type-s. I bought it for $4100 from this 67 year old man that bought the car new, so its in outstandingly good shape mechanically but it needs some work in a few areas. The paint is really scratched up and it is doing that thing where its peeling off or something just above the rear window (my dads 99 accord is doing the same thing) so i was wondering if you guys new how much it costs to get it painted, right now its black and I'm okay with keeping it that way but i would really like to paint it white, I know changing the color cost much more but i might as well ask how much it costs to touch up the black or respray it white... Anyway the rest of the problems are seemingly small ones I hope. Nether of the heated seats work at all, the leather boot for the shifter is like caved in or something "I'm not sure how to describe it", lastly the power adjustment for the back part of the seat to go up or down doesn't do any thing. Also in the future I thinking of lowering it not if it makes the ride unbearable or if it causes suspension problems... Thank you for putting up with my long and boring introduction. Any help would be amazing.

Search is gonna be your best friend for this , but I'll try to help you out .

Paint is always expensive , but there is no way you'll be able to switch to white . That would be crazy work for a body shop and cost you thousands .

Check all the fuses , that could fix some of the interior problems .

Eibach makes lowering springs and I've heard they ride nicely , not so sporty . But they leave the car uneven , front higher and rear lower . I have function form coilovers and they are only $550 and ride "sporty" and allow you to adjust ride height .

The drunk shift boot is in lots of cars . I drove 2 cls6 with them like that . Probably could buy one from acura brand new and just replace it im assuming . Or make one out of a crown royal bag lolol .

Edit : If you want white , just trade me so I can have a 6 speed lol .

you can def change the car to white if you want........its not anymore work than if you wanted to change to silver or pink or blue....well you get the idea........of course you are going to want to do the jams which is a pita, but if you have a quality body shop its just routine! welcome and good luck!!!!!
