brake pads

Im trying to decide between 3 types of brake pads:
1. EBC Greenstuff
2. AEM High Performance
3. Axxis Ultimates

I live in SoCal so i do alot of stop and go driving and dont really deal with cold weather. I do slam on the brakes alot from high speeds but im not very into racing.....so what is everyones opinion based on my conditions?

Well I can share my experiences with EBC Green Stuff pads... I freakin' love them! I don't know about the others, never used them but I recently put EBC's in the front of my Accord. They are WAY better than the stock compound, much better feel, better braking, virtually no fade. They do give off more dust but it's worth it, great pads.

i have a set of Hawk HPS street pads that served me well. used them for literally less than 500 miles. i am going to send them back to tirerack (changed my entire brake setup), but if you want them let me know. If i were you either get the hawks or ultimates.

I have EBC greenstuff. Will definitely buy again I love them. Good bite, better than stock with no fade. I get alot less brake dust than stock too. Plus I have EBC's front rotors too though.

Be careful of hard brake pads. You will have problem with your rotors later. Brake dust may be unsightly, but it is not a bad thing. Take a look at the Bimmers and MB. They all have a lot of dust and I mean a lot!!! I had a 99 328i earlier and I had to clean the wheels almost every week, but the brakes were great and never had problem with rotors. The PBR deluxe pads are gentle on the rotors and stop well
