Now, I am close to 30K miles... I guess it would be the right to check those Brake pads.

So, do you only change the fronts, or all 4 brake pads?

What did you chose, AEM, Competch if any, or any other high performance brake pads?

I stress the need for better stoping power, if I can do it just changing the pads that would be great.

I was thinking about this too--with all of the rotor problems I wonder if changing pads would just be asking for trouble and hardships if the rotors go bad.

 

If proper bedding ( Brake-in) is followed, then you should have no problem.
