Brake fluid for BBK

going to pick up my BBK on sat. I was wondering what kind of fluid do i need? as i have understood, the bbk only comes with 2 steel lines and you need steel lines to use motul 6000 fluids. So since i only get 2 steel lines, should i go with honda brake fluid or the motul? thanks in advance

Motul 600 here in both cars. Rotora also sells the steel braided rear lines separately. Do yourself a favor and pick those up too since you'll be bleeding the whole system anyways if you use anything but Honda fluid.

motul has a higher wet boiling point than oem. it has a higher dry bp, too, but wet is what really matters.

First off, I think you meant "Motul 600".

If I understand you correctly, you want to add a front BBK and only replace the front brake lines with SS lines. I wouldn't recommend this since the rear brake lines would still be the weak link in the brake system. In addition, you should also replace the rear pads with similar brake material as used on the front BBK.

When I had the CT 13" BBK installed on my CLS 6MT, I also upgraded the rear brakes with crossed-drilled rotors (OEM size), better pads and SS lines. I used "Motul 600".
