Bout to install AEM tomorrow or next day any tips?
When I got home from the office today I had a big smile on my fact to see that big AEM box at my door!!! I ripped it open and began reading about diffent methods of install. Just wondering if you guys have any tips for me before I do anything the hard way without realizing. The bumper removal really scares me.

Bumper removal? That would've scared me too. Good thing you don't have to remove it.

I just installed mine last Saturday...
Just make sure you have a nice long extension to reach the pain in the ass bolt that sits below, between the airbox and the battery. If you don't have the extension, you'll just have to take the battery out. An extra pair of hands to help with the job, will help things go much easier. Disconnect your battery for 30 minutes to reset the ECU.
Other than that, it really isn't that bad. My Dad and I finished the install in 1.5 hours and the included installing the bypass (cutting the cleaning the pipe) and he took 20-30 minutes to read the directions.

Cool I am not doing the bypass so that won't be a problem. And I don't think I have a problem taking the battery out but where are the radio codes that everyone says I need. I can't seem to find them. I don't want to disconnect the Battery if I can't listen to my radio after.
I think my friend Mark is going to help me. Did you have to take off the bumper of the front tire?

Jack the left front end up... No need to take the tire off. You may have a hard time fitting the CAI through the area where the resonator box sat. There WAS a bracket that I had to remove. I just couldn't get it to fit otherwise. No big deal, as it didn't seem to be doing much.
Good luck!

It's not hard at all. I agree with getting that long extension. It will save alot of time, & make the install easier. My install was very easy. I didn't even have to jack the car up, or remove the battery, I did it by myself in about 45 minutes.

I don't think I have a long extension and I don't know anyone who would. What I don't get is that some people say it is Sooo easy and others take 11 hours to do it haha j/k.
I have a turny clicky thing but it is only about 8 inches long. I think I am going to have to take the battery out.

I installed my CAI last night. It took me a couple of hours to complete the job. I had to remove the battery because I didn't have the extension to remove a bolt. The radio code (5 digits) is on a card in a black datebook type case that the dealer gave you when you purchased the card.
