Bought my Z

Silverstone grey, touring model, 6 speed with burnt orange interior, 18"s, navi, aero package, aluminum kickplates, mats, mudguards, engine, door handles, antenna, and a bunch of knobs and lights.

Thanks for all who gave input on color etc. Helped alot. Gets delivered next week. They had to do a swap with another dealer. I'll post pics next week.

wahoo!

Congratulations! Awesome color. I think I'm going to buy mine in the spring. Still not sure if I'm going to get the Z or the G35C.

Well, I'm definitely going to have to take this to the track after the 1200 mile break in so we'll have to meet up. I know you offered this a long time ago and that I've been a no-show at local meets, but I have alot more free time on the weekends these days (no girlfriend now, and its winter so i'm not at the beach).

I work right off the callow hill exit on 95. 6th and arch st (the Philly Federal Reserve Bank). PM me if you want to stop by sometime and check it out. My buddy at work just bought a TLS so maybe you can convince him to come to some meets

hehe congrats, one of my family members has bought a Z...the story:
my 17 y/o cousin Melissa just got a new Black CL-S w/ navi and everything.....(they are jewlers so they have money unlike me) and her older brother, who currently drives a M3, does not want to be left in the dust so he got the orange 350Z, its going to be his summer car and the m3 is going to be his winter beater. i dont know what the model is but i'm going over there house after the auto show next weel to take it for a spin./

congrats on your new purchase!

Yep, Nissan actually bought the lease out out for the car's retail value, so I didn't pay anything to end the lease 2 yrs early...granted the reason the CL's buyout figure was so freaking low was that I payed down the capital by 5k$ when I bought it. DOH!! Yeah that hurts...live and learn... I never was a finance savvy guy.

edit: oh and the money *cough* that I got for the *cough* err... tranny lawsuit helped offset this quite a bit.

Congraulations. Please check in with us when you get it and let us know how you like it. Also, it would be nice you could check in from time to time with a small report. Thanks and good luck.

probably not anytime soon. if you don't get them with the car, they run about 3k$ from what I understand. I think i'd get new wheels (lightweight Rays from NISMO) before I did that. I really wanted the Rays and the brembos on the track model, but I felt the leather seats (unavailable on the track), and the bose 6 disc changer would be more difficult to add later than brakes and wheels would be. Aftermarket radios just get stolen around here and although I read some harsh reviews of the bose system, at least no one will steal the damn thing. Oh well, can't always have it all.

the problem is that radio sounds like crap. I couldn't believe how bad it sounded. Everything else was nice but the bose blows big time. It makes our sound like the best system on the planet.
