BOO HOO… No tint job today
I got to the place at 8AM sharp as requested and waited…and waited…and waited.
Called his number at 9 and left a message on his machine but got no reply.
At 9:20 a RED Porsche showed up and I thought that was the owner because he’s big into the Porsche scene and owns 3 or 4 of the older 911’s.
Turns out it was just another customer who was there for a tint job as well.
I waited and shot the shit with that guy until almost 10 and then called it a day.
I don’t know what happened. I hope the guy is OK because I’ve known him since I got my first Dodge Daytona Turbo-Z done there back in 1985.
On top of that I’m now riding around with no rear seat or rear parcel shelf because I took those out for him to do the rear window.
I hope I can get this rescheduled soon.

Around the top edges, I believe they use clear nail polish to prevent peeling from the top.

I just got in touch with the owner.
He was out of state for a family emergency and didn’t have my number with him.
We have rescheduled for Wednesday the 8th.
On the bright side, he has dropped the price from 100 bucks down to FIFTY for the inconvenience.
He normally charges 300 for FIVE windows, but I was getting it for 100 because I gave him a lot of business over the years.
I’ll probably still give him the 100 anyway.
