Bodyshop recommendations in NY...

Can anyone from the NY area recommend a good reputable body shop? Anywhere in the 5 boros or LI. I need a really good bodyshop to work on my baby. Don't care how much. I just need someone who does really good work. TIA.
I am soooo pissed. Just got into an accident. Some f'n a**hole just hit me on my driver's side rear fender. I got damage on the rear fender, driver's side passenger door, and slight damage on the front fender.

Im sorry to hear that cl-driver....I can only imagine your pain.

I can recommend a shop that I have seen their work since I havent needed one for a long time. They specialize in Mercedes Benz cars and are reasonably priced for their level of work. They are located across the street of PCRichard on steinway st. in Asotria....right next to a Saturn dealer.

hope that helps

Lou

Thanks for all your replies and comments. I appreciate it.
I put the car in the driveway and haven't looked at it since. I'll have to take pics in the morning.
I still can't believe it. I have been babying this car since the day I got it and all it takes is some a**hole to f*k it up. Some people are real idiots & should not be driving. The guy was driving a 2000 Hyundai Elantra that looked pretty beat up. Driving in the left lane, I give my left signal & slow down to take the left fork in the road & I see this guy in my driver's side mirror gaining speed behind me. Don't know how he was expecting to take the curve at that speed in his pos. Even I had to slow down. Before I could react... bam. Hits the driver's side rear bumper & rear quarter panel putting me into a 180. To top it off, the guy couldn't slow down enough & ended up hitting my front driver's side bumper. I called the police & filed a claim with Geico. I'm just worried that his or my insurance won't cover all the work. I believe that if I don't use the Geico's recommended list of bodyshops, they cut me a check for their appraiser's damage estimate. Has anybody dealt with a Geico claim before? His happens to be Allstate which is a reputable co. but it still worries me. My license has been clean (no accidents & no tickets in NY) for the 12 years I've had it.
Thanks again everyone.

if none of those guys come thru, try this place in queens, its called Auto Sports and the number is:718 961 4700. They did my skirts for my Sundance gold cl and they did a perfect paint job. Thing is, they are a very well known place for custom works so they only do good work.

p.s. they have good prices too. talk to them and ask first.

Gabriells in Yonkers, they are the only body shop that westchester bmw, and pepe mercedes, porcshe, and infiniti go to. They worked on my car and several family members cars. The paint matching and blending is flawless they are good guys too. They will work with you.

Thanks all for your recommendations but I think I've found my shop. Should be getting an estimate in a day or two. I'll post pics when the repairs are all done.

I just picked up the C32 from the bodyshop today and the car looks great. Beltfed had highly recommended Diamond Auto Collision in Huntingtion, NY and I thank him for taking out the time to to make sure they take good care of my baby. I highly recommend them as well if anyone needs paint/bodywork done. The paintwork is awesome. Everything blends in well and its very difficult to tell that the car was painted. The only thing is the bumper covers don't line up 100% but its not that bad. They'll re-adjust it when the weather gets warmer. The front bumper will probably be re-adjusted next week when I get the Bi-Xenon headlamps installed. This cold weather sucks.

Here are some pics if anyone is interested: http://www.photohost.org/gallery/sho...97&ppuser=1660

Thanks for all the recommendations guys, but I needed a bodyshop closer to LI and this one came very highly recommended.

Sure, no problem. I just can't wait until the weather gets warmer. This cold weather is really brutal.
