What's up everyone. So was on my way back from Kroger yesterday on a 3 lane divided highway. I was in the far right lane 2 cars behind a guy that stalled at the light. The guy in front of me and I proceeded to start to merge into the middle lane (No one was coming up from behind in the middle lane) I sat there for about 45 seconds stopped with my turn signal on waiting for the guy in front to get around the stalled car. As soon as he made it I was letting off the clutch and this woman comes out of no where from the left lane and tries to merge in the middle lane and scrapes all up the front fender of my car. Then gets out and proceeds to ask me if I didn't see her coming??? I of course responded by saying that I wasn't even moving!!


Long story short got her insurance info and filed a claim. Calling the dealership here in DFW when they open at 9, and going to find out who they farm their work out to but just wanted to see if anyone on here has any good recommendations? Or any shop I should stay away from.

When I checked around for my own research many people referred me to Tran's Auto Body.

He quoted me $2400 to bring my car in for repaint and repair of the many dents I had. That doesn't mean much without seeing my car, but at least his reviews are spot on.

So just got the damages estimated at Dallas Collision Center (Certified Acura and Audi dealer body shop) and it looks like that little scrapage is about 2k worth of damages. They are going to have to replace my driver fender, sand down front bumper and repaint, realign my hood and blend the paint .. oo and she bent my rim!! so they are going to try and salvage the wheel and if they cant then they will order a new one.. but hey it could have been worse..
