I think your referring to the OEM TL kit. It is not a direct fit for the CL and will require quite a bit of modification by a body shop, but there are a few members on the board who have payed to have it done, and it does look pretty good. For more pics search the forum.

Silver..40 it looks at though the front lip was put on upside down? Did you do this on purpose? I have the kit on my car and I put it on the same way the TL was designed to have it on.

nope it had to be stretched. Look at the other people who have done it. They have the same bend. Your just seeing it more because of the angle of the picture. I didn't want it molded with the stock bumper like yours because going back to stock would be much easier this way.

I guess you just have to see it in person. The reason for the bend is because the kit needed to be stretched. I didn't add any fiberglass to it to make it fit so that it sits flat. This way I have more durability when or if I damaged the front lip. Brian you have the kit on your car. Post some pics and you can see that my front lip is on the correct way. You can't install the kit upside down it doesn't fit right.

another person with the TL conversion

notice on one of the pics you can see a slight bend as well on his kit. Its just how the kit sits on the CL bumper. Mine is more apparent because I didn't add fiberglass to extend the kit.

its cool. Its also the angle of the photo.
Yeah its definitely not set right because there is no way unless you mold it to the bumper. The shape of the CL bumper is very different from the TL bumper. I didn't make that many modifications to the bumper because I'd rather have the durability.

mine is molded w/ polyeurethane extensions to make it flush, so i have no bend, but it does not look as flushed like acuraJL's because i wanted mine to still look like a lip kit

i guess it is the angle of the pics.

Definately the angle of the kit and the fact we are both going for different looks. I like the angular look, it works well with the car and besides i think that front lip is the best for the car due to its ability to have a point in the middle that follows the cars "lines". I however wanted the flush look, but we are the only ones with the kit..what are we up to now? 10 kits? I would like to see the back of Silverbuilt 40 kit-you used what kit in the back?

the rear skirt is the Versus kit. I didn't want to go through more modifications with the TL kit. I'll try to get pics sometime this weekend.

Silver,

Give it a year or so, I re did my after about 1 1/2 year, and I was able to put the front lip even higer than before from both sides. I'll try to take some pictures and post them here.

It just takes time to break that front lip in. I think I might try to re fit it again next year just to see if I can bring it up even.

Btw, your car looks great!
