Blue and Purple HIDs

well...my driver side head light became very dimmed and flashy 4 sum odd reason. so i took out the bulb and put in a 01 CL bulb. still did the same thing. so i took it into honda (dont have acura dealersip here) took them a while to figure out wat was wrong cuz obviously they dont deal with HIDs -_- later they found out it was my unused fog light wire. was causing sparks. so all they do is CUT the wire off... then charged me $40 for labor -_- then the bulb ended up being purple for sum odd reason ....and as of now there isnt really anything i can do about it....bothers the hell outta me

<img src="http://i172.photobucket.com/albums/w12/sc1314/DSC01289.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a>
cant see the purpleness in the pic....i needa use a better camera other than my phone

The bulb is on its way out... is that the 01 CL bulb? if so put back in your old one. Should be back to normal.

Just buy a new set from Excelerate so you have two of the same color.

Excelerate is a vender on this forum. He has pretty good prices on Kaixen bulbs...try them out and do something different than OEM.

Disregard of what their saying about your ride. Everbody has different taste in what they want to do to their car.

you can easily get new HID's. get them off ebay or something, dont go to the stealership.

they're 4300 HID, not sure about the bulb type. d-something i believe. someone help him out with that. should be fairly cheap. get a pair so they match up perfect. please install yourself, its not that hard.

i had the same problem with one of my lights. it got kind of pinkish

i just cleaned the light housing and replaced the bulb and its as good as new

as for the cars in that photo album.... that one differant rim really sets it off
