Blown Speaker on Stock System? Jens?

i've got an '03 CLS and my front 6.5" driver's side speaker sounds like it's either blown or sometihng is rattling inside it. does warranty cover this? I haven't changed my stereo AT ALL.

Shouldn't be an issue and it should be taken care of under warranty.

I have a 01 Cl-s and have the same problem w/my driver side speaker. IT's making a tinny sound from the door. Is it the door or the speaker? Also have rattle coming from rear seat or deck, almost sounds like leather rubbing....????

Well my passanger rear has been that way for months now. I added the basslink, but haven't touched the speakers at all. I'm, afraid to even go to the dealers by me. I just know they will not cover it by my experiences. Been looking for a stock replacment in black market. I'll just replace it myself.
