Bleeding Brakes...

Hey guys and gals...

Just got off the phone with Midas and they agreed to swap out all 4 of my pads and rotors for my new after market stuff. They are asking for about $100 to the job, but they claim that it is NOT neccessary to bleed the brakes and that they actually NEVER bleed brakes unless there is a problem. I;m not sure the last time my brakes have been bled, is it neccessary to bleed them or is generally best practice too... any thoughts would be great...

Oh and is $100 fair to do this?

I've actually asked this before but is there anyone in the Boston area willing to do it for like 50-60 bux? A nice kid responded last time, but all his tools are not i nthe area and I simply don;t have the time to find tools for this job...

Thanks,
Ed

100 for all 4 wheels is pretty good. bleeding brakes isnt necessary but i did it on my last change and made a nice diff.
