Black Viper SRT at the Track........

Dodge revised the rear trunk and raised the front fenders an inch......helped the looks quite a bit IMO.

That space will have a cover, a can of soda will "not" fit/seat correctly in that hole.....its for holding coins and other loose shit.

During Dodge's research, one of the top 5 things current Viper owners didn't want in the new car was a cupholder. Its mentioned in the cars press release, so you can bet that isn't a cupholder.

that viper show was filmed in Calgary...what a bad show LOL
the SRT doesn't look as bad as the initial press pics made it seem...altho I must say the older GTS, or GTS ACR are far meaner looking, and thusly for me, more desirable...

I agree with Astro.
It looks great, but I still prefer the 96-02 GTS.

Hopefully lots of current owners will be “upgrading” to this one in the near future.
I’m seriously thinking about picking a used GTS up as early as next year and that would mean more cars to choose from.

Slowest loading pics ever.

Anyway, that thing looks ten times better than the last "final design" they showed off. Whew.

Looks hotter than the last viper to me. Less wild, but deffinitly a better looking car. I do think that they coudl angle the front head lights a bit, and make them a little larger for a more menacing look.

Agreed, these pics take forever to load........ anyway, I think once this car hits the streets, it will grow on people.

This is a revised version also

The size of the rear wheel/tire in the pic of the red one is ridiculous. Impressive.

Because the buyers don't want a better interior, Dodge had several meetings with owners at the annual Viper meet (like 1000+ Vipers show for this event) and the general consensus was that they did not want any additional toys/convenience features (no cupholders, power seats, electronic A/C, traction control, etc)....many don't want power mirrors either, but Dodge added them several years ago.

Indeed the rear tires are huge, rears are 19s/fronts 18s

well for the corvette atleast it was so they could save some money on the price, could you imagine how much more it would cost if it's interior and dash pieces weren't out of the GM parts bin. And i doubt people driving the viper really care about AC. The corvettes interior isn't bad, spend some time in one and you'll grow to like it. And the lack of interior in both of these car is by far made up for in performance. People don't by these cars for interiors like our acuras, that's what their daily drivers are for.

don't you just love them

i had 335's on my hot rod for a little while and they just gripped like no other. But the profile was to low and looked funny so i switched to 315's

Yeah, they are cool......totally huge tires, the car needs them to stay planted (even with the tires, the car can get away from you).
