Hey guys,

I've been lurking on this forum for a while but now I'm finally posting, and plan to a lot more.

Anyways, how do you think black chrome emblems would look on a silver CL-S? I was at North Toronto Acura yesterday and saw a pamphlet for 2002 Acura TL accessories and the black chrome emblems look pretty sweet. They're $158 according do the acura.ca web site so that's not too bad. Thoughts?

 

Where you gonna get the front grill emblem and the 3.2CL Type-S emblems?

I was at North Toronto the other day. I am picking up my BLK CL-S this week from there. Just had to wait to find one.

 

arnold and i have found a place that will paint your chrome emblems

 

i want those too! I have a silver CL and think it will look dope. How can Acura make them for the TL and not for the CL, thats fucked up.

Soopa: Good point. I just saw the picture of the black chrome emblem and decided I had to have it. I didn't see any other black chrome stuff other than the Acura emblem.

I think they should fit since it's an accessory for the TL?

Well, the Black Chrome for the 00-01 TL's wont fit the CL because the CL's have Acuras new oversized emblem.

The '02 TL might have the same sized emblem... but that doesnt mean it will fit on the front. It also doesnt mean the 'pegs' will line up for the back emblem.

But most importantly.... why would ya want a black chrome 'A' if you still have a normal chrome 'A C U R A' and 3.2CL and Type-S emblem.

I dunno, that's why I was asking for opinions. Acura should have made all the chrome pieces (grille, etc..) available in black chrome. Weird how they would only have the emblem available in black chrome.

I should have taken home that brochure and scanned the pic. I'll drop by the dealership and get one sometime this week and post a pic.

Check out the Lexus ES300's. Black chrome looks so nice on dark colors. But IMO, it looked very cheap and gawdy on silver.

Toyota emblems have always looked cheap compared to Honda's... but I'm still not sure if it would match well. Black on black with black chrome and Gunmetal/Antracite wheels is still king.
