Big Exhaust Mess-up

Let me tell you a sad sad/stupid story of my exhaust system(s)

I love exhaust systems; like music to my ears. Quality exhaust systems of course.
So my first exhaust system purchased was the Tanabe Hypermedallion. I got bored of the sound, and the tips weren't too attractive. Then i bought the HKS draggers axle backs and had custom piping done from cat back; which the exhaust shop messed up big time; threw back on my tanabe Cat back; but did not want to see the HKS go to waste so i retrofitted the HKS on to my Tanabe system.
Then cops harassed me 3 times in 2 weeks of my exhaust system; got a ticket for noise pollution; $120 had to go to court.
Welded my stock resonator on to my tanabe. Argggg

Now i know the flow is going to be all messed up for the supercharger.

I just want to go back to stock )=

What sucks is that they don't make cat back systems anymore (comptech). I just have the B-pipe installed with headers and ice box and I love the way it sounds with the stock mufflers.

What is the B-pipe? Does comptech sell it, and, are they the only supplier?

Umm, its a little hard to describe. The closest I can think of is kind of like the stock G35 exhaust note. Its not exactly like that, but similar. I'll try and get a hold of my buddy's digital cam to get a video of it.

Before the Comptech change in ownership, or whatever it was that happened, they used to produce a catback exhaust system for our cars. It consisted of the b-pipe and the axle-back system they sell now. Basically, its the pipe that goes from the catalytic converter to the axles. Unfortunately they stopped producing the piece because they weren't making any money off of it (which is what I read somewhere). I don't think you see any gains from it unless you go FI, but it changes the exhaust note to a more throatier sound without getting ricey. I like my setup cause it sounds good and still looks stock. You can sometimes find them for sale in the black market, but not too often.

The Draggers very pretty audible with the tanabe b pipe; had to weld on the stock resonator to keep them away.

They ticketed me for the Tints, Exhaust, Signal Lamps and H.I.Ds that are too bright.
Maybe it's my luck, me, or just the Gold TE37s that just points me out in traffic.

HIDs too bright? stock form is 4300K...if you have that the cops are smoking too much grass before they go to work.

Most Cops are assholes! Once got a ticket at BIW airport for my exhaust...... i was livid... I took the cop to court and pleded my case. The judge was so mad at the officer that she told him that this was a waste of her time the courts time and the other people waiting. Then she told him to stay after. The judge told me "sorry to have waisted your time". All i could do was give the officer a smerk ass look.
aahhhhhhh justice was served!

What setup do you have for your exhaust???

Im still trying to find a nice low G35 sounding exhaust...dont need the hassle and not trying to sound like a honda....

or tell me what you've done

1. Just faced the facts and spent the money for Comptechs

2. Had magnaflows welded on to stock system

3. Custom Setup (please describe)...and how much did it cost you

This was on my old car... my svt contour. I had alot of diffrent exhaust systems on that bitch, i found the best is custom... DON'T LAUGH

i had:
no cat, charry bomb for the rez, and 2 dynomax mufflers, all on 2 1/2 fron the header and 3 from the Y-pipe out to the mufflers. It sounded just like a G35 but better. I didn't loose any back pressure and gained all top end from 3500rpm's to redline. ran me about $250

I want to do the same thing on my Cl but i don't know how it would sound on a A/T! Does anybody have a cound clip of any setup on an auto.
