Big Brake Kit

The original thread is here.

I spoke to Sherwin and he said for ~$1750 + shipping you can get the front 13" cross-drilled/slotted 2-piece rotors, 6-piston calipers, SS brake lines, and ceramic pads. Plus, he'll throw in the rear rotors (11") cross-drilled/slotted, ceramic pads, and a bottle of high performace DOT brake fluid for free. Sales tax applies in CA only.

It looks like you have to have aftermarket wheels to fit these brakes. I have 18x7.5s +42 offset.

Nashua - Sorry to hear that bro. I guess I'm very lucky I don't have to deal with snow in the winter.

Here's a pic of the rotor/caliper

Apparently, some guys with CL/TLs have ordered them too, but not many. I'm getting them installed next Friday. Unfortunately, if you live in cali, you have to pay tax. I'm getting them for $2k OTD and on my CL.

From what I've read, most people that got the Brembo kit (12 or 13 inch) love them and some even say it's one of the best investments they made for their car. Stopping distance is improved, no fade (unless you track the car a lot), rotors can be replaced for $150 each if they are damaged and they look SWEET!! That kit (fronts only) is ~$2300 + shipping & install while I'm getting much more for $300 less. This is why I decided to get them.

Btw, anyone selling their CT sways, exhaust, or AEM CAI?

I may retrofit the new TL front Brembos if the cost is reasonable!Oh I have 16" winter tires...

I since I do not have the 17" anymore... I will not buy super expensive 18" winter tires...

How do we figure out what size wheel these brakes will fit with?

Sherwin is person to contact at 888-820-1777 (brakezone.com).

He has spacers (5,7,10mm) that would make them fit with your rim. Give him a call and ask to be sure.
