Which is better? Boston Dealerships

I bought my CL in Rhode Island but I live near Boston, I wanted to know other peoples experiences with the Boston area dealerships as far as who may have the better service shop/body shop work...anything.

I got mine at Inskip too, but I'm down here in Swansea, so I don't know much about he boston area dealers.... I've yet to try out First Acura in Seekonk.

Hopefully mc_yanzo or one of the other boston massholes will see this...

I haven't been to First Acura, but I hear they are good people. I bring my car to Inskip even though I don't like them.

One reason I'm asking is because when I bought the car in August, they still "owed" me a full glass polishing and a fix on the front quarter panel ( I think someone over did it with the rotary) But to get them to fix it I either have to drive an hour down to them and leave the car or they said they would come up and drive it back...I thought it would be easier if I asked them to transfer the IOU to a closer dealership. I want to have a specific one in mind when I talk to them.

I brought my car to Acura of Boston about 2 months ago to have body work done (got rear ended by and Expidition). It wasn't the actual dealership who does the work, but an autobody shop who is affiliated with them. My impression was they did way too much, which is fine because insurance paid for it. But, all I really need was a new rear bumper and it ended up being almost $5K in work (have three pages of what they did). It really depends on what you are looking to get done though, either cosmetic or mechanical.

That must be sunnyside acura... Bulldog01 had mentioned them before... I think they charged him half what the dealers down here charge for a 7500,15K, or 22.5K service (basically an oil change and tire rotation).

Yeah, I gotten mixed results from them too... They were the last ones to service my car (did the 30K on my own), but I'll probably have them service it next spring (45K service). A buddy of mine had bought a 1st gen CL off them years ago, but failed to mention his "issues" with them until AFTER I had bought my car

Just saw this...

I bought my car at Acura of Peabody. Any warranty issues I've had, they've been great. I'm at 60k miles right now, my warranty is up, and I've had two things replaced under goodwill warranty. They are great and I get all my major services done there (they are not cheap though, but comparable to Acura of Boston and other places). I highly recommend them.

I live right by Acura of Boston. I only go there for oil changes. Haven't had a problem with them yet.

I think virtualbong goes to Acura of Framingham. He has a TL I believe.
